Oluyinka (Yinka) Ajirotutu is an award winning transformational leader and trailblazer in both public and private sectors. At an early age, Oluyinka developed a passion for healthcare and serving others that she has nurtured over the course of her life. Selected as one of seven fellows from among hundreds of applicants, Oluyinka began her career in healthcare administration at the top hospital in the country, Mayo Clinic. During her four years at Mayo, she learned from some of the top physicians and leaders played key leadership roles in patient satisfaction, safety and healthcare best practices. For six years, she served as a consultant for the United States government, leading numerous projects for large scale healthcare systems that have resulted in improved efficiency, cost savings and improved quality of care for patients nationwide. Most recently, she served as an Administrator at Emory Healthcare with oversight for multiple clinics with over fifty physicians and eighty staff members. For the last several years of COVID-19, Yinka has played a key role in ensuring the appropriate coordination and support for continued and excellent patient care.
Passion for wellness and giving back to others has been a consistent driver in Oluyinka’s life, creating balance and purpose. She is an accomplished speaker and motivator who is committed to each person fulfilling their purpose in life while practicing daily wellness habits. Her experience is varied, Oluyinka has spoke at national conferences, galas and workshops. Through her business, Oluyinka Speaks, Oluyinka provides interactive and transformational presentations for corporate and small business clients that provide motivation for each employee to achieve their full potential through optimal health and wellness. She communicates the importance of stress management and caring for one’s mental and physical health through daily habits and lifestyle changes.
Oluyinka enjoys spending time with her friends and family, outdoor activities including running and hiking, traveling overseas and volunteering at her church. She has a Master's in Hospital Administration and a Master's in Business Administration from Saint Louis University. She also has a Bachelors in Psychology and African American Studies from University of California Davis.
